Avonil Powder

Avonil Powder is a traditional formula, providing PKU patients with Amino Acids, Vitamins and Minerals, required per day.

Avonil powder is for the dietary management of the proven phenylketonuria (PKU) in childrens over 4 months old and adults, including maternal PKU patients.

Avonil powder is not intended for use as a sole source of nutrition. Avonil powder must be supplemented with a low protein diet and under strict medical supervision.

Dasage and administration:
The recommended dosage of powder depends on lean body mass, physical activity and the ability to metabolise natural protein. Avonil powder should be devided into three o rmore dosages, distrubuted over the day along with the meal. Powder must be mixed with water or juice.

The optimal effect of Avonil, preventing phenylalanine from remaining in the blood stream and thus entering the brain, does only work if food and Avonil are eaten at the same time.

• Vitamins (Asorbic acid C, Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin K1, Vitamin E, Thiamin hydrochloride B1, Riboflavin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Niacine,Pantothenic Acid, Biotin, Folic acid)
